Anti-Theatre is a design and development studio which began its life in 2004 and is based in East London.
We are a partnership; a partnership of design and function - designers, creative writers and development experts with a common interest - we are motivated by a desire to collaborate with clients, to capture the essence of their brief, and make it a reality.
Anti-theatre is your project partner. We collaborate with you, so that the collective needs and concerns are understood and reflected by the evolution of the project.
This not only infuses the design process with a range of new ideas, but by generating widespread involvement and management leads to a successful solution to every project.
Some of the most important project decisions are made before the design starts, and we find that some of our greatest contributions to a project occur in the pre-design visioning and planning process.
Our designers collaborate on each project from the very beginning, working with the client group to elicit goals about how they wish their brief to be interpreted, and what behaviours they wish to encourage.
We'll ensure that our solutions respond to these objectives on every level - from establishing an aesthetic concept to a site layout and a selection of finishes. User comfort is tantamount, and our design team will apply their expertise to ensure that each project meets and often exceeds our clients' needs.
